Artworks Care Guide

Artwork Care

Keep Away From Moisture

Water, steam, or humidity can damage the surface of paintings and weaken print materials over time.

Always hang your artwork in dry, well-ventilated spaces away from bathrooms and kitchens.

Avoid Direct Sunlight

UV rays can cause colors to fade and paper to yellow over time.

Display your artwork away from windows with direct sunlight, or use UV-protective glass for framing.

Gentle Cleaning Only

Avoid chemical cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials on your artwork.

Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently dust framed pieces. For glass, use a non-ammonia cleaner sprayed onto the cloth, not the glass.

Stable Temperature

Extreme temperature changes can cause warping, cracking, or condensation on your artwork.

Maintain a consistent room temperature and avoid placing art near radiators, fireplaces, or air conditioning vents.

Proper Storage

When not displayed, store artwork flat or upright in acid-free materials and protective wrapping.

Keep stored pieces in a cool, dry space away from potential water damage or heavy objects.

Handle With Care

Always handle artwork with clean, dry hands or wear cotton gloves to prevent oil transfer.

Support artwork from the back when moving and avoid touching the surface of paintings or prints.
